Job Description
The Purchase Officer cum Accountant will be responsible for managing the procurement process, maintaining financial records, and ensuring efficient financial operations. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in the real estate industry, with strong skills in both procurement and accounting.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Procurement Duties:
- Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective purchasing.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Coordinate with project managers and other departments to understand procurement needs.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services and resolve any issues related to delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Accounting Duties:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Monitor budgets and ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns and other statutory requirements.
- Support the finance team with audits and other financial reviews.
