Job Description

The Radio Sales Manager is responsible for managing the sales activities for FM Tadka in Jaipur. This role focuses on developing sales strategies, managing client accounts, and driving revenue growth. The Radio Sales Manager will work closely with the sales team, marketing department, and other stakeholders to achieve sales targets and expand the client base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
  • Identify and target potential clients in various industries for radio advertising.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Understand client needs and provide customized advertising solutions.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through regular follow-ups and effective communication.
  • Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Work closely with the sales team to share best practices and strategies for achieving sales targets.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the programming and operations teams to align sales activities with programming content.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding the client base.
  • Develop and execute plans to maximize revenue during peak seasons and special events.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and new market segments. Analyze market data and sales trends to inform sales strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.

Education + Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of sales experience in the media industry, preferably in radio sales.
  • Strong understanding of the radio broadcasting industry and advertising market.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
